5 Dating Idea's With Your Husband That Will Bring Back The Butterflies

A lasting marriage in this day and time is getting harder and harder to maintain.  It is a plus for any couple to add excitement every now and then.  Dating doesn't have to be so repetitious.  There are plenty of ways to spice it up and bring in the fire.  While going to dinner and a movie is nice, it can get old real quick.  Here are five idea's for dating to bring back the butterflies:

1.  Switch it up.  For people who like role playing games this is perfect.  Each person needs to think of someone that they want to act out as, such as a lawyer or police officer.  Give yourselves a clothing allowance and get creative.  Next plan a meeting place like a lounge or cafe.  Introduce yourselves to each other as if you have never met.  I got this idea from the movie "When a man loves a women".  Here is a link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6VSyKVgi0_8  This is a date with endless outcomes that is sure to bring on the butterflies.

2.  Heat it up in the kitchen.  If communication is needed in your marriage, cooking together can be a great conversation starter.  With this date planning is a must.  Each couple needs to pick what they want to cook and help do stuff with each others recipes.  Working together in a creative setting can bring on the flirtatious body language and genuine laughter.  For added excitement open a bottle of Vino and turn on some music.  Dates like these can result in beautiful memories for everlasting conversations.

3.  Get artistic with body painting.  Body painting allows for physical interaction.  With this type of date you are sure to laugh and have fun.  Don't be afraid to make each other look silly.  This activity is all about fun and play.  You will get a chance to see the artistic side of your spouse!

4.  Revert to childhood.  Often in a marriage we get so tied up in work, bills, children, and financial responsibilities.  A date that revolves around activities that bring out the kid in you and your husband is sure to bring some sparks again.    Plan a whole day for these activities and make sure to pick things that interest both of you.  Examples (paintball, go-kart racing, water park, miniature golf, water gun fight, balloon fight..etc)

5.  Camp under the stars.  Plan a night to pack up a tent and get out of the house.  There is nothing like lying under the star's surrounded by nature.  It brings closeness and gives more chances for snuggling up together.  Make a pact to not talk about household responsibilities.  Spend your time under the open sky reminiscing over past times.  It's definitely romantic!

Dating with your husband can be new and exciting.  Think out of the box and bring flavor to the table.

If you have idea's for an interesting date idea, please feel free to share in the comment box.  I would love to hear what other couple's have done for fun!

Spice It Up With The Sound Of Music

Music is something loved by just about everyone. When you combine it with cooking the results are magnificent. Research has shown that music can give a person a more positive state of mind. It lowers depression and anxiety and helps bring about creativity. Music can motivate, inspire, romance, and energize all in itself.

Cooking on the other hand, is loved by many but very well despised by others. Personally, I have always loved cooking but sometimes need a boost to get to work in the kitchen, so I have found that combining the two is a recipe for gratification! For those who do not like to cook or simply just don’t know how this is a fun way to learn.

Start with the choice of music. Pandora has a wide selection of radio stations you can listen to without having to buy a new cd. There is French, Italian, Sca, rock, and so many more. Anything that get’s you in the mood is great! Something new make it’s more fun.

Next, it is always fun to cook a recipe you have never done before. Not only is it exciting, but it also gives you more ideas for what to cook in the future. I know when I started cooking, baked chicken, mashed potatoes, and canned corn was really all I could think of to make. Not very appetizing if you ask me now.
The internet gives an abundance of recipes and step by step directions to help you along the way. I suggest Food Network or All recipes. Most will have reviews to see if it is worth your time and money to make. Anything new to add to the table is a plus for altering moods.

My husband and I put Pandora on and listen to Italian or Sca music. We dance, chop, and conversate all the while. It is a wonderful way to spend some time with your spouse or just friends and family. Top it off with a glass of wine and you have the makings for a perfect evening well spent.

Rekindling With Gratitude

Relationships in all forms can be hard to  manage.  Most often, people lose the ability to communicate with their friends, family, and loved one's do to the fact that we live in a busy world surrounded by distractions of all kinds. The most effective way to rekindle a relationship with someone you have become distant with is the use of Gratitude.

Gratitude is being thankful.  It is the key to communication and what binds us together.  Most of the time we are angry or upset with ourselves and other's for minuscule reason's.  We hang on to our grudges tightly with little forgiveness.  Not only is this damaging to our relationships, it is unhealthy by nature.

Gratitude in your marriage can be a very beneficial key to improving communication.  When you have been married for so many years communication can be hard to come by.  Couples stop saying "thank you" for small deed's and begin to expect those deed's with no gratitude.  If we are not thankful for the things that we "do have" we can tend to blame our significant other for the situations we are enduring.  Practicing gratitude daily can improve our self image and bring about an appreciation for just about anything.  We can then let go of the things that we cannot change and enjoy the blessing's all around us.

Wake up every morning and think of everything that you  have whether it is great or not.  Think of all your friend's and family, your neighbors, and your enemies. Put all of these images in your thoughts and say "Thank You"!  Life is to short to waste time.  Love yourself, your surroundings, and those close in heart. It is much harder to be kind due to our prideful nature yet more rewarding when you actually try.  Gratitude is the foundation of our lives and the building blocks to our relationships~

Don't break your pockets

Families are constantly looking for ways to get out of the house and enjoy some fun time.  Over the last few years less are taking vacations because the economy is not doing so well.  Vacationing is an important part of our lives.  It is something that we don't do often and would love to do more.  Our schedules are busy and we have no time and no money for all of the expenses that come with traveling.  Here are a few tips to vacation without breaking your pockets:

1.  Plan everything!  I couldn't stress this enough.  Planning what you want in a vacation is vital to the cost that you will be paying.  Make a list and think of all the things that you would like from activities to dining to room services.  This will make the choices in the next step less complicated.  Often when we begin to look into the things that we desire and then we get distracted with other stuff.  Distractions can raise the cost in any vacation.

2.  Research, research, research.  Once you have a plan you can then begin to search the cost of everything you desire.  By doing this you can weed out the least important stuff and focus on the most important.  Most often websites will offer full packages that include hotel, car, and flight.  It makes everything easier when going through one place for all your needs.

3.  Traveling is cheaper during different months of the year.  Every destination has peak season's.  To get the lowest price on your vacation, travel when it is not peak season.  Prices drop and travel destination's are wanting travelers to come at this time.

4.  Don't hesitate to bargain.  Most companies will let you bargain for your price.  You could possibly get turned down but you wouldn't know unless you tried it.  You work hard for your money and should get the most out of what you pay.

5.  Don't over shop.  Most people go out and buy 10 new outfit's and excessories for their vacation.  This can add up and leave less money to spend in more important stuff.  Most often you will never wear each and every outfit you purchase.

6.  Look into the place of destination.  Will you need bug spray, sunblock, snorkel gear?  It is much cheaper to buy all the stuff you will need before going on vacation.  A lot of desired destinations hike their prices on these usually low cost items.

Low cost vacation's are possible.  You have to be willing to do the research and plan everything before hand.  Vacation's are a wonderful way to spend quality time with your family and friends, relax on the beach, and enjoy delectable food~
